Privacy notice.
Short, because we collect little. This describes exactly what the site stores and why.
What we collect
Three things, all volunteered by you: Strategic Assessment intakes (organization, capital position, link, email, and any context you write), Capital Strategy Diagnostic submissions (your answers, the computed result, your email, and optionally your organization), and Field Notes subscriptions (email and an optional audience selection). We also record the referrer and any UTM parameters present when you first arrived, plus a one-way hash of your IP address used only for rate limiting.
What we do with it
Intakes are reviewed directly to assess fit. Diagnostic submissions are reviewed to improve the instrument and, where fit is plausible, to follow up. Field Notes addresses receive the Field Notes briefing. That is the whole list.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or share your details with third parties for their marketing. We do not run automated drip sequences. We do not put your email, organization name, or free-text answers into analytics.
Email delivery
Email is sent through Resend, which processes transactional and subscription messages on our behalf: the Field Notes confirmation you receive when you subscribe, and internal notifications to our own team when a form is submitted. Resend receives the recipient address and message content required to deliver that email. We do not run automated marketing sequences.
Field Notes subscriptions and unsubscribing
Every Field Notes subscription carries an opaque management token that is stored with the record; your email address is never encoded in a link. Unsubscribing requires opening the management page and pressing the button, so automated link scanners cannot remove you by accident. When you unsubscribe we store your unsubscribed status and the time it changed, so the address is not mailed again.
Analytics
We record aggregate page views and interaction events — which pages are viewed, which calls to action are used, and how far people get through the diagnostic — along with a session identifier and campaign parameters. These records contain no personal identifiers.
Retention and your choices
Lead records are retained while there is an active or plausible engagement conversation, and removed on request. Field Notes subscriptions are removed on request, or set to unsubscribed via the management link in any Field Notes email. To access, correct, or delete anything we hold, email us.
